A large part of what we do at Aussie Frontline, is bring people together. The benefits of increased social connection are enormous & this is incredibly important for first responders, ADF members and veterans.

With these occupations facing some of the most challenging work environments imaginable, it’s vital they receive education and support. There’s no such thing as too much!

This November, the Aussie Frontline team visited cities in the Iron Triangle to check in on local frontline workers and to say ‘thanks’ for the work they do – something that doesn’t always happen in the day to day.

It served as an opportunity for the extended frontline community to feel connected, supported and appreciated.

Mali Briggs explained “Frontline workers are a pretty selfless lot. They don’t do what they do to be thanked, they do it because they care. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t nice to get some thanks once in a while. And also some support if and when it’s needed. And that’s what we’re here for”.

Frontline occupations are tough, especially when you throw social, professional and geographical isolation into the mix through regional postings.

We had a wonderful time meeting and thanking those in the community, doing their best in some of the most challenging environments.
